Of What We See
The perception of what our eyes see.
Our minds have the keen ability to combine and filter
what our eyes see. In a
magazine, we easily navigate through the clutter of ads, and on the
street we
neglect to notice ugly things such as radio towers, trash, or even dead
flowers.
Sometimes fatigue or emotions like frustration work with our mind and
eyes
to perceive-or possibly notice-the chaos of our daily environment.
Of What We See uses or combines photographic
imagery, commenting on the
perceptions of what we see. “Series One” involves extreme
closeup imagery of
a halftone print magazine to affect the viewer's understanding of what
is seen.
