My work flourishes from its roots in discovey, intuition, and chance. My photographic work embraces the aesthetics of abstraction and process of physical acts and unconscious motions upon a surface. It is imperative that subjects have an initially powerful visual and psychological presence. The images in this series are the formulaic records of discarded material combating the surface of oxidized steel walls within industrial sized garbage dumpsters. The product is a photographic canvas of true chaos and uncontrived reality. The work is a culmination and balance of form, concept, and the aesthetic necessity to discover beauty. This artistic balance allows the viewer to experience the subject, build and attach a personally specific value to the piece, giving the work its artistic and intrinsic value.
