Jeffrey Wheeler's

Exhibits

After painting in relative obscurity for the past three years on the high plains of Texas, Studio 107 is delighted to be part of Jeff Wheeler’s debut tour in Texas. He will appear in Austin on November the 9th , at 6pm after his Ulterior Motifs exhibit in Houston hosted by the Art Guys.

...Also making his first Austin appearance at Studio 107 will be "the Tiger Woods of the art world," Franklin Ackerley. He will be at the opening on November 9th night and available for autographs and questions. Becoming an art star almost overnight while still in grad school in Washington State in 1993, Franklin Ackerley has grown to have an almost cult hero status through the WEST while remaining relatively unknown to the rest of the world...He will also be in the Art Guys show on November the 15th. Join us for this excellent exhibit complete with musical accompaniment by “Los SonSaBitches”. “Jeff’s work embodies a modern-day western sense of humor and absurdity..." says Rainey Knudson of Glasstire.com

Studio 107 was created to establish a dialogue among contemporary artists and to introduce contemporary art to more of Austin.

The works shown at Studio107 are edgy, contemporary, humorous, and technically excellent in execution, concept, implication or all three. The artists who show in this space are dedicated to producing high quality art even if it means late nights after a hard day's work somewhere else. They strive to challenge their peers to achieve a higher level of perception.

If you would like to purchase these works, or get on our mailing list email liz@studio107.com or call 512.477.9092.
